Tomasz Lelek

Tomasz Lelek is a Senior Staff Software Engineer at Dremio, where responsibilities include researching Generative AI applications to generate SQL queries based on natural language input and developing a related product. With a solid background in software engineering, Tomasz also co-authored the book “Software Mistakes and Tradeoffs” with Jon Skeet and serves as a Technical Trainer for Apache Kafka at Bottega IT Minds. Previous experiences include a Senior Software Engineer role at DataStax, as well as various positions focused on software development and technical writing at organizations such as Packt and Grupa Allegro. Tomasz holds a Master's degree in Applied Computer Science from Jagiellonian University and a Bachelor's degree in Applied Computer Science from Cracow University of Economics.
