Sophie Wilmet

Sophie Wilmet is an accomplished retail professional with extensive experience in leadership roles within the luxury and cosmetics industries. Currently serving as VP of Retail Experience for Bottega Veneta since January 2024, Sophie previously held the position of Sr. Director of Operations and Retail Performance at Loro Piana from July 2020 to December 2023. As the China Country General Manager and Retail Performance lead at Albatross CXG from October 2016 to July 2020, Sophie contributed to the development of customer experience programs for over 200 brands. Prior to this, Sophie founded and served as CEO of G.LO.W. LTD from September 2011 to October 2016, and held consulting roles as a Retail Strategy Consultant and Sr. Director of Merchandising at Ralph Lauren between September 2007 and August 2011. Sophie's educational background includes an MBA from emlyon business school and a Master’s degree in Business Management & Marketing from the University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne.
