Mahyar Joodaki has a diverse work experience. In 2021, they were the Head of Digital Therapeutics and Digital Officer at Bottneuro AG. In 2020, they were involved in a Research project - Machine Learning at Paul Scherrer Institut PSI and a Deep Learning project at the Department of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Basel. In 2018, they were involved in a Research project - Quantum electronics - Nanofabrication at the Department of Physics at the University of Basel. The project topic was Quantum transport in topological insulator heterostructure devices and involved the identification of layers for thin films using MATLAB for codes and AFM for validation, the fabrication of heterostructures of 2D materials for encapsulating air-sensitive 2D materials, the fabrication of nano-electronic devices using E-beam lithography, and quantum transport measurements of nano-chips in cryogenic labs for investigating Quantum spin Hall effect and topological insulation.
Mahyar Joodaki has a Bachelor's degree in Physics from Shahid Chamran University of Ahvaz (Jundi Shapur) from 2009 to 2013. Mahyar then went on to earn a Master's degree in Atomic/Molecular Physics from the same university from 2014 to 2016. Currently, they are pursuing a Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Basel, which they are expected to complete in 2021.
