Joe Meyer

Joe joined Boulay in 1987, became a partner in 2000, and now leads the firm’s tax department. He has provided taxation and management consulting services to clients for more than 25 years, and he specializes in Federal and multi-state compliance for corporations, individuals, non-profits and partnerships. Joe assists clients in a variety of industries including manufacturing, contractors, professional services, retail, nonprofit, real estate, and wholesale/distribution. He represents clients in examinations and protests dealing with the Internal Revenue Service and various state taxing authorities, and he investigates client issues related to Internal Revenue Code for corporations and individuals in order to initiate tax savings. Joe performs in-depth tax planning and projections for clients in many different industries, and he provides general business consulting to assist companies in improving profitability. Joe also advises clients on tax strategies in various merger or acquisition transactions.
