James Butler has over two decades of architectural experience, currently serving as the Lead Architect for Boulder County Building Services and Public Works since April 2003, where responsibilities include overseeing new builds and interior remodels for various County departments, notably the Boulder County Jail Admin Addition in 2019. Prior roles include Architect at Rick Epstein/RE Architecture, Project Manager at TCRR Architects, and Project Architect at The Singleton Associates Architecture/Management/Construction, among others. James Butler earned a Bachelor of Architecture and a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture and Fine Arts from Washington State University, where studies spanned from September 1988 to June 1995.
