Shawn Rupp

Shawn Rupp serves as the Built Environment Electrification Specialist at Boulder County since July 2023, focusing on electrification programs and long-term strategy development. Prior to this role, Rupp worked as a Utility Consultant at Leidos, providing support for Integrated Resource Planning, and as an Energy Engineer at Group14 Engineering, conducting energy audits and identifying energy savings for commercial buildings. Rupp has also held positions as a Senior Consultant at Guidehouse, planning demand-side solutions for utility companies, and has experience as a researcher and intern at various organizations, contributing to energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives. Rupp holds a Master of Science in Architectural Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder and a Bachelor of Science in Polymer Science and Engineering from Case Western Reserve University.
