William Reid

William Reid has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. William'smost recent role is as the Vice President at Boulder Imaging since 2022. Prior to that, they founded and served as the Principal Consultant at Immersed, a consulting company they established in 2007. In this role, they provided product development and innovation strategies for businesses of all sizes and industries. William also utilized TRIZ principles to identify and solve challenges.

From 2015 to 2020, William worked as the VP of Product Development at KIOSK Information Systems where they led product planning and development for clients ranging from startups to Fortune 100 companies. William managed teams in Product Management, Marketing, Software, Hardware Engineering, Operations, and Project Management.

Before that, they held the position of Manager of Development Engineering at Covidien from 2007 to 2012. In this role, they oversaw the Interventional Oncology product development team and managed a budget of up to $5 million. William also supported the development and execution of a three-year roadmap for product development and research goals.

Other roles William held include Director of R&D at Colorado Altitude Training, Director of Research and Engineering at MedEfficiency, Inc., Project Director at Colorado Medtech, and Project Manager at UMM Electronics. William started their career as a Research Engineer at Ford Motor Company and worked as a Mechanical Design Engineer at GE Aircraft Engines.

William Reid's education history includes a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. William also holds a Master's degree (M.S.) in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Cincinnati. In addition to their formal education, William has obtained certifications in Managing Innovation from LinkedIn in October 2021 and in New Product Development Professional (NPDP) from the Product Development and Management Association (PDMA) in April 2014.
