Renee Gilliland

Renee Gilliland is an accomplished conductor and musician with extensive experience in orchestral leadership and instruction. Currently serving as the Associate Director of Orchestras at the University of Colorado Boulder and as the conductor for the University of Colorado Boulder Philharmonia Orchestra, Renee has also held positions with various orchestras including the Boulder Philharmonic Orchestra and Anschutz Medical Orchestra. With a Doctor of Musical Arts in Orchestral Conducting and Literature from the University of Colorado Boulder, an Artist Diploma from the University of Denver, and multiple degrees in music performance and education from Indiana University and The University of Texas at Austin, Renee possesses a strong academic foundation complemented by a diverse range of hands-on experience in music education and orchestral performance.
