John Taylor has extensive experience in the field of construction and mechanical contracting. John started their career in 1985 at Natkin, where they served as a Project Manager and excelled in managing large projects and maintaining high-profit margins. John then joined Chavez Sheet Metal as a Project Manager, overseeing major projects in Denver and Colorado Springs. In 1996, John became the Vice President of Heating and Plumbing Engineers, where they managed daily operations and communication with project managers, superintendents, and CAD managers. In 2007, they became the President of JET Mechanical, where they managed the daily operations of their contracting business and prepared bid documents for Energy Performance Contracts. During this time, they also served as the Director of General Construction Management at Long Energy Solutions, responsible for managing bidding documents and overseeing various school projects. Most recently, John served as the Plant Maintenance Operations Manager at Boulder Scientific Company. John Taylor attended North High School from 1973 to 1975. Following high school, they enrolled at the Colorado School of Mines from 1977 to 1980 to study Petroleum & Mining Engineering. Subsequently, from 1980 to 1983, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Colorado at Boulder.
