Nicholas Swisher

Nicholas Swisher has a diverse range of work experience in scientific research and chemistry. Nicholas is currently working as a Scientist I at Boulder Scientific Company since February 2021. Prior to this, they held the role of Postdoctoral Researcher at Colorado State University from April 2019 to December 2020. Nicholas also gained valuable experience as a Graduate Research Assistant at the California Institute of Technology from March 2012 to December 2018. Additionally, they served as a Scientific Coworker at RWTH Aachen University Institute of Organic Chemistry from October 2010 to July 2011, where their work focused on the preparation of bioactive compounds. Nicholas began their career as a Scientific Coworker at the University of Kentucky Department of Chemistry from January 2005 to August 2007, specializing in the synthesis of precursors for organometallic-fused heterocycles with applications in electrically conductive materials.

Nicholas Swisher attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 2006 to 2010. Nicholas obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry during this period. Later, they pursued doctoral studies at Caltech, where they earned their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Chemistry.
