Hector S. Porragas

Hector S. Porragas is a dedicated medical student at the University of Colorado School of Medicine, pursuing a Doctor of Medicine degree from 2017 to 2021. In addition to academic training, Porragas has extensive experience in the medical field as a medical assistant at Boulder Valley Center for Dermatology since February 2015, and previously served as a clinical assistant at Implant and Oral Surgery of Colorado. Porragas also held roles as an experiential learning coordinator for the Presidents Leadership Class, where leadership development activities were organized for a group of 200 students, and as a research assistant in the Neurophysiology of Human Movement Lab, engaging in data collection and analysis. Early career experience includes an assistant manager position at Swim TLC, focusing on staff training and facility management. Porragas holds a Bachelor's Degree in Integrative Physiology/Neuroscience with a minor in Leadership Studies from the University of Colorado Boulder, completed in 2014.
