Tamara Acevedo currently serves as the Executive Director of the Northwest Network at Boulder Valley School District, overseeing a network of schools and focusing on professional learning and school improvement initiatives for PK-12 leaders. Prior to this role, Acevedo was the Chief Academic Officer for Colorado Springs School District 11 and held various positions at Denver Public Schools, including Deputy Superintendent Academics and Instructional Superintendent for the NW Collaborative Region, where a collaborative of 18 diverse schools was led. Acevedo possesses a B.A. in Communication Disorders from the University of Colorado Boulder, a Principal License from the University of Colorado Denver, and M.A. and teacher certification degrees from the University of Denver.
