Lead Experience Designer at Bound

Gianluca Caico has had extensive work experience in design roles throughout their career. Gianluca began their career in 2007 with a high school work experience program at Visy, where they gained exposure to various design processes. Gianluca then worked as a Digital & Graphic Designer for The Champagne Dame, assisting with graphic and web design for the company. In 2013, they joined Kwik Kopy Australia Pty Ltd as a Creative Designer before moving on to Rutledge AV, A Diversified Company in 2016. At Rutledge AV, they served as a Content Creation Designer (UX) and Marketing & Design Coordinator, working on projects such as website redesigns and digital signage.

Caico later worked at atisfy as a UX/UI Designer and Senior UX/UI Manager, delivering research-driven designs and managing user experience for global clients. Gianluca also took on the role of Lead Product Designer (UX/UI) at No Moss Co, where they focused on building the design department and applying design thinking to team building. Currently, they are working as a Lead Experience Designer for Bound, leading multidisciplinary project delivery teams and utilizing data-driven design solutions to align with client expectations. Additionally, Caico is a member of the Design Leadership Forum.

Gianluca Caico has a strong background in graphic design and multimedia. In 2009, they obtained a Certificate II in Multimedia from Melbourne Polytechnic. Following that, in 2010, they pursued an Advanced Diploma in Multimedia and Printing & Graphic Arts from RMIT University. Continuing their education, Gianluca enrolled in Tractor Design School in 2011 and completed an Advanced Diploma of Advertising & Graphic Design, specializing in various fields such as brand, marketing, print, web, digital, animation, and typography. Gianluca also has additional certifications in printing & graphic arts and multimedia from RMIT University and Melbourne Polytechnic, respectively.
