Carlos De la Cruz has a strong background in mechanical engineering and project management consulting. In 1998 to 1999, they pursued a Master in numerical methods at The International Center for Numerical Methods in Engineering (Research center - UPC).

From 1997 to 1998, Carlos De la Cruz attended Institut National des Sciences Appliquées in Lyon, France, where they worked on their Final Degree Project focusing on "Cavitation Analysis of a propeller."

Lastly, from 1991 to 1997, Carlos De la Cruz attended the School of Industrial and Aeronautical Engineering of Terrassa (University) where they earned a degree in Industrial Engineering with a specialization in mechanical engineering.
