Andrea Francis

Andrea Francis is an experienced cultural development professional with a strong background in managing arts festivals and cultural initiatives. Since April 2019, Andrea has served as the Cultural Development Manager for BCP Council and the Director of the Arts by the Sea festival, overseeing significant financial management and leading the festival through multiple funding cycles with Arts Council England. Prior experience includes roles at Bournemouth Borough Council, Foot Anstey LLP, Hazlitt Theatre, and insurance companies, where Andrea developed event management skills, financial oversight capabilities, and collaborative approaches with diverse stakeholders. Andrea holds a degree in Classical Studies from the University of Reading.
