Dr. Julie Whitfield

Dr. Julie Whitfield has been a Senior Lecturer in Conference & Events Management at Bournemouth University since September 2005, where Dr. Julie teaches events management and conference tourism at both undergraduate and master's levels. Prior to this, Dr. Whitfield served as a Tourism Lecturer and Coordinator of Post Graduate Studies at the Institute for Tourism Studies in Macau from September 2004 to August 2005, focusing on subjects such as Special Interest Tourism and Event Management. Dr. Whitfield earned a PhD in Tourism from the School of Tourism at Bournemouth University, having studied there from 1999 to 2005.
