Heritage Engagement Officer For Selly Manor at Bournville Village Trust

Louise Deakin is an experienced heritage and engagement professional with a career spanning over a decade. Currently serving as the Heritage Engagement Officer for Selly Manor at Bournville Village Trust since August 2022, Louise also holds the position of Vice-chair at the Jewellery Quarter Research Trust, where efforts focus on the preservation and promotion of local history. Previous roles include positions at Moor Pool Heritage Trust, Stourbridge Glass Museum, Museum of Royal Worcester, and Birmingham Museums Trust, where responsibilities ranged from community outreach to educational programming. Notably, Louise contributed to the Heritage Lottery Fund as a Community Engagement Officer and has extensive experience in customer service and volunteer coordination through earlier roles at Waterstones and Birmingham Conservation Trust.
