Jess Donnerberg has a diverse work experience in various construction-related roles. Jess started their career as a Farm Hand at McGourin Farms in 2004 and worked there until 2010. In 2009, they also worked as a Carpenter at Anselmo's Custom Home for a brief period. Starting from 2011, Jess gained experience as a Construction Project Engineer Intern at LB Stone Properties Group, followed by a Project Engineer Intern role at GLY Construction in 2012. Jess then worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at Auburn University for a few months before continuing their role as a Project Engineer at GLY Construction from 2013 to 2018. From 2018 to 2019, they served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Auburn University. Jess then joined Howard S. Wright, a Balfour Beatty company, as a Project Manager from 2019 to 2022. Jess'smost recent position is as a Project Manager at Bouten Construction Company, starting in 2022.
Jess Donnerberg's education history includes a Master of Building Construction degree from Auburn University, completed in 2019. Prior to that, Jess earned two Bachelor of Science degrees from Washington State University in 2012, one in Architectural Studies and another in Construction Management. Jess also holds an Associate of Arts degree from Columbia College, obtained in 2008. Jess completed high school at Cheney High School in 2006.
In addition to their academic degrees, Jess has obtained several certifications. Jess obtained the OSHA 30 certification from ClickSafety in December 2020, the DBIA (Design-Build Institute of America) certification in September 2017, and the LEED Green Associate certification from USGBC (U.S. Green Building Council) in March 2014. Jess also obtained the Assoc. DBIA (Design-Build Institute of America) certification in December 2014.
