Jon Stob has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Jon started their career in 2003 as the Owner and Operator of Stob Auto Detailing. In 2012, they transitioned into the construction industry, working as a Project Engineer Intern at Foushee & Associates, Inc. Jon then became a full-time Project Engineer at the same company in July 2013. Jon continued to gain experience in the construction field, joining GLY Construction in 2015. Jon initially worked as a Project Engineer before being promoted to Project Manager in November 2018. In October 2022, they joined Bouten Construction Company as a Project Manager.

Jon Stob completed their education in a sequential manner. Jon started their academic journey by attending the University of Washington from 2011 to 2013, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management with a minor in Architectural Studies. Prior to attending the University of Washington, they attended North Seattle College from 2009 to 2011 to complete the prerequisites for Architecture and Construction Management. In 2008 to 2009, Jon completed the prerequisites for Architecture at Calvin University. Before their college studies, Jon attended Shoreline Christian School from 1995 to 2008, where they completed their K-12 education. Additionally, Jon Stob also holds several certifications, including WELL AP (obtained in December 2017), Health Care Construction Certificate (obtained in October 2016), Infection Prevention Training (obtained in October 2016), OSHA 30 Construction Safety & Health (obtained in March 2016), Lean Construction Certificate Program (obtained in October 2014), and LEED Green Associate (obtained in April 2014).
