Richard Ortega

Information Technology Specialist at Bouten Construction Company

Richard Ortega began their work experience as a NCOIC, Client Systems Team at the United States Air Force in February 2011. From there, they worked in various roles including Section Chief, Client Service Center and NCOIC, Plans and Implementation. In October 2012, they became the Network Operation Section Chief, leading 3 work centers and 23 technicians in securing and maintaining classified and unclassified networks. In May 2016, Richard became the Wing Inspection Team Manager/Exercise Planner, leading and training 110 Wing Inspection Team members. Richard then served as the Wing Exercise Planner from October 2017 to June 2018.

In 2019, Richard joined Women Helping Women Fund as a Program Project Manager until April 2020. Richard then worked as an Office and Event Administrator at Spring Environmental, Inc. from July 2020 to August 2021. Currently, Richard is working as a Project Coordinator at Bouten Construction Company starting from September 2021.

Richard Ortega attended the University of Maryland Global Campus from 2000 to 2002, where they obtained a degree in Electronic Systems Technology. Richard also holds certifications in Project Management from Procore Technologies, specifically in Project Manager (Project Management) and Project Manager (Core Tools), which were obtained in October 2021 and September 2021, respectively.
