Daniel Camilleri is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in technology and research. As the Founder and CTO, as well as the Founder and CEO of BOW since March 2020, Daniel has demonstrated leadership and innovation. Previously, Daniel worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Sheffield from October 2015 to March 2020, contributing to the WYSIWYD project focusing on the iCub robot. Daniel also gained research experience at the Fraunhofer Institute for Production Systems and Design Technology in June 2014, working on integrating a sketch-based interface for 3D modeling. Earlier roles include positions at Arriva as a Junior Vehicle Electrician and at Alberta as an Assistant Security Technician. Daniel holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Computational Intelligence and Robotics from The University of Sheffield and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (Honours) from the University of Malta. Skills developed throughout Daniel's career include time management, inter-personal communication, and creative problem-solving.
