BOW VALLEY COLLEGE
Kristine has been an instructor in the Legal Assistant Diploma since 2007. Kristine started her professional career by obtaining a Bachelor of Arts and then a Legal Assistant Diploma. Upon completion of her education, she began working in the legal community in Alberta. Over a ten-year period she worked for a variety of law firms from the sole practitioner to the large national law firms in many areas of law including corporate, commercial, real estate, wills and estates, family, and litigation.
Kristine teaches a variety of legal assistant courses both in the classroom and online environment. She played a role in the development of the online Legal Assistant Diploma program. Kristine is a past member and chair of the college’s academic council and faculty association.
Kristine is also active in the community. She attends Alberta Association of Professional Paralegal events on behalf of the College and has presented as a faculty member in a Legal Education Society of Alberta seminar.
When not engaged in teaching duties, she enjoys traveling, reading, cooking, and other entrepreneurial endeavors.
