Alyssa Weyers

Alyssa Weyers is an accomplished professional in architecture and project management, currently serving as an Assistant Project Manager and Project Engineer at BOWA Construction since November 2021, where notable achievements include repurposing two historic buildings for the Chicago Housing Authority. Alyssa has been actively involved with the American Institute of Architecture Students and the National Organization of Minority Architects since 2016, demonstrating a commitment to architectural education and community engagement. Prior experience includes roles such as Project Engineer at Engineering Support Services and Project Design Engineer at Stone City/International Marble and Granite Co., where technical skills in AutoCAD and AlphaCam were applied. Alyssa is a University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign alumna with a Bachelor of Architecture degree, complemented by hands-on internships at several design firms and a founding member role in the Hispanic Organization of Urban Studies and the Environment.
