LaKota Pierce, CPA, MBA has had a diverse range of work experience in various roles and industries. LaKota started their career in 2015 as a Plastic Card Specialist at Bowater Credit Union and later worked as a Client Account Specialist at WarrenJackson CPAs, PLLC from 2017 to 2019. LaKota then joined Santek Waste Services, LLC as a Staff Accountant from 2019 to 2020. In 2020, they worked as a Staff Accountant at Life Care Centers of America before eventually moving up to the position of Chief Financial Officer at Bowater Credit Union in 2023.
LaKota Pierce, CPA, MBA obtained a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Business/Management from Tennessee Wesleyan University in 2016. In 2019, LaKota obtained the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from the Tennessee State Board of Accountancy. LaKota then went on to pursue a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus in Accounting from Tennessee Wesleyan University, completing the program in 2020.
