Niles Bryant

Niles Bryant is the SVP and Chief Investment Officer at Bowdoin College. Niles has over 20 years of experience in the investment industry.

Bryant started their career as an Associate at Winston & Strawn LLP from 1998 to 2000. Niles then worked as an Associate at Dewey & LeBoeuf LLP from 2000 to 2001. In 2004, they joined Carnegie Corporation of New York as the Associate Director of Investments, a position they held until 2008.

In August 2008, Bryant joined the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation as the Director of Real Assets. Niles held this position for 12 years until April 2020. During their time at the Moore Foundation, they oversaw the foundation's $6 billion endowment and helped it grow to over $9 billion.

In April 2020, Bryant joined Bowdoin College as the SVP and Chief Investment Officer. Niles is responsible for overseeing the college's $1.7 billion endowment.

Niles Bryant received a Bachelor of Arts in Classical Archaeology from the University of Michigan. Niles then attended the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth, where they earned a Doctor of Law. Finally, they attended Duke University School of Law, where they earned a Juris Doctor.
