Jonathan Bray

Jonathan Bray has a diverse work experience. Jonathan started their career as an Engineer at United Consulting Engineers in 1994, where they gained valuable knowledge in steel and pre-stressed concrete design. Jonathan then transitioned to the aviation industry, working as a First Officer for Chicago Express Airlines and later for Comair, flying routes on the Saab340B and Bombardier CRJ200, respectively. Unfortunately, both airlines faced economic difficulties and closed. Bray then joined Bowen Engineering Corporation in 2006 as a Project Engineer, before taking on the role of Project Manager at S&B Construction Group LLC in 2015. In 2016, they became a Senior Project Engineer at Bowen Engineering Corporation. Throughout their career, Bray has showcased strong technical skills and a passion for their work.

Jonathan Bray has a diverse education history. Jonathan attended Washington Catholic High School from 1986 to 1989, where they earned their high school diploma with a general field of study. After completing high school, they attended Vincennes University from 1989 to 1992, with a focus on pre-civil engineering. Jonathan then transferred to Purdue University from 1992 to 1994, where they earned a bachelor's degree in civil engineering.

In addition to their formal education, Jonathan obtained several certifications. In 1995, they completed the Safety Inspection for In-Service Bridges certification from the Federal Highway Administration. In 1998, they obtained the Fundamentals of CarteGraph BRIDGEview certification from Cartegraph. In 2000, they achieved the Simpson Strong-Tie Conections certification from Simpson Strong-Tie. Jonathan also holds a Gold Seal certification from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) which they obtained in May of 2003. Lastly, in 2014, they acquired the Concrete 101 certification from the American Concrete Institute.

Furthermore, Jonathan expanded their knowledge and skills in the field of aviation by attending the North American Institute of Aviation. Jonathan obtained a Professional Pilot Certificate from the institute, completing the program from 2000 to 2003.
