Michael Coney

Michael Coney has a diverse work experience in various engineering roles. Michael worked at Bowen Engineering Corporation as a Project Controls Engineer, where they assisted project managers in cost and schedule tracking, built and maintained project schedules using Primavera P6 software, and operated drones and laser scanners for project planning. Michael also served as a Project Engineer, managing construction projects for plant upgrades. Prior to that, they worked as a Field Engineer at the same company. At People of Praise, Inc, they worked as a Project Manager, completing major house renovations and converting a duplex into a single-family dwelling. Michael also worked as a Contract Engineer at Boston Scientific, where they designed a 3-dimensional model of arterial pathways for testing a stent. Additionally, they worked as an Engineering Intern at Sleep Number by Select Comfort, where they assisted in designing, building, and testing new mattresses.

Michael Coney attended Jesuit High School New Orleans from 2000 to 2004, where they obtained a Diploma. Michael then went on to the University of Minnesota from 2004 to 2008, where they earned a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Mechanical Engineering. In February 2019, Michael obtained a Remote Pilot Certificate - Small Unmanned Aircraft System from the Federal Aviation Administration.
