Yvonne Morales has a diverse work experience spanning several fields. Yvonne started their career in the United States Army in 1983 as an Imagery Analyst and Medical Records Specialist. After leaving the army, they worked as a Driver and Assistant Meal Coordinator at God's Love We Deliver from 1990 to 1991. Following this, Morales served as an Outreach Worker at Hispanic AIDS Forum, Inc., where they engaged in community development, education, and outreach efforts related to HIV/AIDS. In 1993, they became the Project Director at La Familia Unida AIDS Outreach Project, responsible for proposal/grants writing, overseeing daily operations, and hiring and training outreach personnel. Yvonne then transitioned to Lutheran Medical Center in 2010 as a Case Manager and Patient Navigator, where their role involved executing medical and support service plans, providing support and coaching to patients, and conducting health education encounters. From 2011 to 2015, Morales worked at Beth Israel Medical Center as an Outreach Worker and Community Liaison Assistant, establishing linkage agreements, providing transportation to patients, and submitting reports. Their most recent position is at Bowery Residents' Committee, where they serve as an Outreach Specialist.

Yvonne Morales pursued their education at Kingsborough Community College from 2015 to 2016, where they completed a CASAC Course and earned 50 credits. Previously, in 2010, they attended NDRI and obtained a Certificate of Completion in Patient Navigation Training.
