Bill Lau

Bill Lau has over 20 years of work experience in the engineering and project management fields. Bill began their career in 2000 as an Assistant Engineer at Panasonic, where they assisted in industrial and residential ventilation product design, development, and production follow-up, as well as producing 3D CAD and engineering drawings for various products. In 2002, they joined Johnson Electric as a Design Engineer, and was later promoted to Senior Design Engineer. In 2007, they moved to De'Longhi Group, where they held the roles of Project Manager, Senior Project Manager, and Lead Project Manager. In this role, they oversaw the execution of the full NPD cycle by leading cross-functional teams across local and European head offices, while providing leadership and oversight to project and senior project managers. Bill is currently employed as a NPD Project Manager at Bowman Power Group Ltd, a role they have held since 2022.

Bill Lau attended the University of Portsmouth from 1996 to 2000, where they earned a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Bill then attended City University of Hong Kong from 2003 to 2005, where they earned an MSc in Engineering Management. In June 2022, they obtained a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute.
