Iida Ferdinand R. Dimailig Aia

Principal/collaborator/catalyst at BOX Studios

Ferdinand R. Dimailig, AIA, IIDA, NCARB, currently serves as an Adjunct Professor at the Illinois Institute of Technology since August 2024 and has held the position of Principal/Collaborator/Catalyst at BOX Studios since January 2007, following the merger with FUEL design collaborative. In addition, Ferdinand serves as an Advisory Council Member for Insightful Collaborative and as an Architectural "Zoom" Critic for Kansas State University while teaching in the Interior Architecture Department at Columbia College Chicago since September 2016. Active in various building and grounds committees at Fenwick High School and St. Francis Xavier since 2013, Ferdinand also contributes as a Professor/Mentor at The Illinois Institute of Art - Chicago since 2002. Previous experience includes serving as Principal at FUEL design collaborative and Project Architect at SPACE. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Illinois Chicago and executive education certificates from Harvard University Graduate School of Design and the Quinlan School of Business, Loyola University Chicago.
