Edwin Hoogerbeets

Edwin Hoogerbeets is a Senior Globalization Engineer at Box since June 2018, responsible for the internationalization of over 20 products and the development of i18n libraries and localization tools across multiple platforms. Previously, Edwin held positions as a Globalization Architect at HealthTap and LG Electronics, where responsibilities included overseeing international code changes and localization for webOS Smart TVs. Edwin founded Translation Circle to enhance translation efficiency and has also consulted on software globalization. Earlier career roles include Senior Internationalization Engineer at Palm and Internationalization Architect at Yahoo! Inc., with a strong educational foundation in Computer Science and Psychology from the University of Waterloo.
