John Clara

John Clara is a Senior Software Engineer at Box since February 2018, where contributions include work on the DataPlatform project facilitating batch compute in the cloud. Prior to this role, John was a Graduate Teaching Assistant for CSE 105 at the University of California San Diego in 2017 and held internships at Box, Teradata, Intuit, and Scripps Institution of Oceanography, gaining experience in messaging systems, data flow services, and web development. John also tutored undergraduate students in database principles and computability theory while pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering from UC San Diego, completed in 2017.
