Katsunori Furuichi

President & Managing Director, Japan at Box

Katsunori Furuichi has a long and accomplished history in the business world. Katsunori started their career with NTT (Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation) in 1985 and worked their way up through the ranks, holding various positions in different divisions. In 1998, they left NTT to join Lucent Technologies, where they worked in corporate development.

From 2000 to 2003, Furuichi was the deputy country manager for Level 3 Communications. Katsunori then left to join PRTM Management Consultants, where they became a director and partner. In 2008, they became the CEO of VeriSign Japan.

In 2013, Furuichi joined Box as the president and managing director of Box Japan. Katsunori has been with Box ever since, and currently holds this position.

Katsunori Furuichi has an MBA from London Business School and a BS in Economics from Kyoto University.

Their manager is Mark Wayland, Chief Revenue Officer. They are on a team with and Niall Wall - SVP Business Development & Platform Sales.
