Mark Janssens

Mark Janssens joined Boxer Capital, LLC in 2017. As Director of Trading, Mr. Janssens is responsible for trading the firm’s public equity positions, monitoring the broader market, sector and individual equity dynamics, and maintaining relationships with broker/dealer counterparties.

Prior to joining Boxer, Mr. Janssens spent ten years trading public equities and derivatives, mostly at Access Securities, LLC. Prior to entering the finance sector, Mr. Janssens enjoyed a 12-year playing career in the National Hockey League.

Mr. Janssens holds an M.B.A. in Finance from Columbia Business School and a Bachelor of Arts, with a concentration in Political Science, from New York University.
