Andy Bennett

Andy Bennett has a diverse work experience in the field of design and product development. Andy started their career in 1999 as a Graphic Designer, Photographer, and Curator for Fusion: De Montfort University. Andy then co-founded Gimme, a wishlist application and social bookmarking tool, in 2007. In 2010, Andy worked as a Freelance Digital Product Designer, collaborating with early-stage start-ups on various projects.

In 2001, Andy co-founded Head London, a Digital Product Studio, where they served as the Co-Founder and Head of Design. Andy led the design practice and built a strong design team, introducing new processes and tools. During this time, they worked with notable organizations including HTC, Coca-Cola, Microsoft, and the NHS. Head London was eventually acquired by Zone in 2016.

At Zone, Andy worked as the Head of Design from 2017 to 2018. In addition to managing and growing the product design team, they also led the design practice across all studios. Andy played a pivotal role in the rebranding of Zone and presented concepts to the board.

From 2018 to 2019, Andy worked as the Design Director at Chainspace, a Blockchain startup acquired by Facebook. Andy focused on rebranding the company, including a website redesign and build.

In 2019, Andy took up the role of Director at studio make, and later joined BOXT as the Product & Brand Specialist.

Andy Bennett attended De Montfort University from 1998 to 2001, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree with honors in Multimedia Design. In addition, they obtained a Certified ScrumMaster® certification from the Scrum Alliance in March 2014.
