Ruth Gomez Balaguer

Ruth Gomez Balaguer (nee Patterson) is an experienced legal professional currently serving as General Counsel at Semble since February 2025. Ruth also holds the positions of Chairperson and Non-Executive Director at Inclusion Housing since August 2019. Previously, Ruth was General Counsel and Company Secretary at boxxe from August 2022 to December 2024, and held various roles, including General Counsel, Operations Director, and Head of HR at Hive Learning from July 2019 to August 2022. Other notable positions include General Counsel at Piksel Inc from September 2016 to May 2019, Legal Counsel at TT International from February 2015 to June 2016, and Associate at Herbert Smith Freehills from March 2010 to March 2015. Ruth completed the Legal Practice Course and LLM at BPP Law School in 2009 and earned a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from The University of Manchester in 2008.
