Jerry Schleining has extensive experience in leadership roles within the Boy Scouts of America, currently serving as Wood Badge Course Director for Cascade Pacific Council since September 2016. Jerry began contributing to the organization in November 2012 as a Staff Assistant Scoutmaster for Wood Badge courses and has been a Scoutmaster since September 1999, overseeing Troop 664 and leading Troop 720 during the 2010 National Jamboree. Additionally, Jerry hosted The SMMPodcast from April 2008 to December 2016, focusing on promoting the Boy Scout program through discussions and tips. Serving in the Army from October 2001 to September 2005 as Command Sergeant Major, Jerry provided mentorship to Non Commissioned Officers and Enlisted Soldiers. Jerry's educational background includes training at USASMA from 2003 to 2004 and attended Portland State University for Communications from 1988 to 1990.
