Mark Switzer

Mark Switzer has extensive experience in the Boy Scouts of America organization. Mark began their career in 1998 as a District Executive in the Del-Mar-Va Council. Mark then worked as a District Director in the Narragansett Council from 2001 to 2004. Mark then joined the Chief Seattle Council as a Field Director from 2004 to 2008. Mark served as the Chief Operating Officer/Director of Field Service in the Golden Empire Council from 2008 to 2012. Mark then became the Chief Executive Officer/Scout Executive in the Western Colorado Council from 2012 to 2017. Mark later joined the Twin Rivers Council in 2017, where they held the position of Chief Executive Officer until 2023. Most recently, Mark Switzer has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of the Boy Scouts of America, Connecticut Rivers Council.

Mark Switzer attended the State University of New York at Plattsburgh from 1993 to 1997, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Criminology.
