Amy Wheeler has extensive experience in nursing and volunteer work. Currently serving as a Critical Care Registered Nurse at Kishwaukee Hospital since June 2010, Amy has also held the position of Nursing Supervisor at Kindred Hospital since April 2001. Additionally, Amy has been actively volunteering with the Boy Scouts of America - Northeast Illinois Council and Girl Scouts of the USA since 2012 and 2010, respectively. Amy's educational background includes a Master’s degree in Nursing Education from Chamberlain University and multiple degrees in nursing from the University of Phoenix and Kishwaukee College.

The Boy Scouts of America - Northeast Illinois Council teaches youth ages 5-21 to lead lives of leadership, citizenship, character, fitness and adventure in a diverse and changing world. The Ma-Ka-Ja-Wan Scout Reservation and High Adventure Base offers ten treks in the Northwoods of Wisconsin, the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and Canada.
