Mike Houston

Mike Houston currently serves as VP and Chief Architect for AI Systems at NVIDIA, managing the design and construction of advanced AI technologies since November 2012. Previously held roles at NVIDIA include Senior Distinguished Engineer and Distinguished Engineer focused on deep learning, where responsibilities encompassed accelerating Software as a Service, machine learning, image and video processing, and data analytics. Mike Houston has extensive experience in the computing domain from tenure at Advanced Micro Devices, where positions included Fellow and various architect roles, contributing to server architecture and leading technical initiatives. In addition to professional commitments, Mike Houston actively participates as Scoutmaster for Boy Scouts of America. Educational qualifications include a PhD and MS in Computer Science from Stanford University, and a BS in Computer Science from UC San Diego.
