Matthew Herman

Matthew Herman has a diverse and extensive work experience in the fashion industry. Matthew is the creator and co-founder of Boy Smells since 2016. Prior to that, they worked at Matthew Herman LLC as a fashion designer and trend forecaster from 2011 to 2018. Matthew also served as the design director at Décor from 2016 to 2018. Before that, Matthew was the senior designer of dresses at Nasty Gal Inc. from 2014 to 2016. Matthew also held the position of design director at Zac Posen House of Z LLC for Z-spoke in 2011 and was the senior managing designer from 2007 to 2011. Matthew started their career as a design assistant at Giles Deacon from 2004 to 2006.

Matthew Herman attended Central Saint Martins from 2001 to 2005, where they pursued a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree, specializing in Womenswear. Prior to this, from 1999 to 2001, they studied at Washington University in St. Louis, although information about their degree and field of study during this time is not provided.
