Brendon Boyd is an accomplished lighting designer and technical producer with extensive experience in theatrical productions, live events, and art installations. Currently serving as the Lighting Designer for Westchester Ballet Company's Nutcracker and the Producer, Production Manager, and Technical Director for William Kentridge's The Head and the Load, Brendon has effectively overseen complex technical elements for large-scale projects. As the Owner and Principal Designer of Boyd Design, Inc., Brendon has collaborated with various artists, including Camila Rodríguez Triana, to realize artistic visions. Other notable roles include Technical Producer for Cambodian Living Arts, Consulting Director of Production for the Cathedral of St. John the Divine, and Director of Production for Celebrate Brooklyn! Additionally, Brendon's educational background includes an MFA in Lighting Design from the University of Connecticut and a BA in Theatre Arts from SUNY New Paltz.
