Leadership and talent advisory firm [Boyden](https://theorg.com/org/boyden/org-chart) has announced two key hires in its United Kingdom & Ireland team. [Phoebe Williams](https://theorg.com/org/boyden/org-chart/phoebe-williams) has been appointed Principal, and [Jonathan Taiwo](https://theorg.com/org/boyden/org-chart/jonathan-taiwo) has been named as Senior Associate.

Ms. Williams comes to Boyden from Recruitment firm Bailey Montagu Executive Search, where she served as a delivery consultant for the last three years. She has diverse experience that also includes time with [J.P. Morgan](https://theorg.com/org/jpmorgan-chase/org-chart) Asset Management, Cripps Sears and Partners, and Cobalt recruitment.

Mr. Taiwo is experienced in professional and legal services recruitment, most recently as an Associate Consultant at Hedley May. He has a solid business background and a sound understanding of business and organizational structures.

Victor Escandon has been the Chief Financial Officer at [Boyden](/org/boyden) since 2018. Victor has over 17 years of experience in finance, including previous positions as Senior Director Finance at Daymon Worldwide and Director Financial Planning Global Procurement at [PepsiCo](/org/pepsico). 

At Daymon Worldwide, Victor restructured the capital structure to solve for a mature 100% ESOP owned company, which resulted in the acquisition by [Bain Capital](/org/bain-capital) and subsequent exit to CVC/Leonard Green. Victor also negotiated a $200M+ credit facility with a syndicate of seven banks, pooled all domestic cash, repatriated international idle cash, froze the employee ownership obligation and merged four 401K plans to one. Victor concluded the transition to the buyer, Advantage Sales & Marketing, in April 2018.

At [PepsiCo](/org/pepsico), Victor was responsible for driving the productivity agenda and financial planning for [PepsiCo](/org/pepsico)’s $4BN of global spend. Victor rolled out a global tool to track productivity, giving much needed visibility to results and facilitating distinction between P&L saving and cost avoidance. Victor also transformed the Procurement team’s performance assessment approach. This was a high profile function in light of public productivity targets committed to by CEO to investors.

Chris Swee has over 30 years of experience in the marketing and advertising industry. Chris is currently the Chief Marketing Officer at [Boyden](/org/boyden), a global leader in executive search.

Swee began their career in 1988 as an account executive at Lintas. Chris then moved to AC&R Advertising, where they served as account supervisor. In 1994, they joined Bates New York as VP, Managing Director. There they helped grow the company from a boutique graphics design firm into an integrated marketing agency.

In 1998, Swee joined The Atlantic Group as VP, Director of Client Services. Chris helped build the company into a well-rounded branding agency focusing on B2B clients in the professional services, technology, and healthcare markets. Chris left TAG in 2002 to co-found [Altamira](/org/altamira) LLC, a small marketing consultancy. Chris helped grow the company into a successful branding agency with clients such as Millward Brown, Kobrand Corporation, and [Ricoh](/org/ricoh).

Swee left [Altamira](/org/altamira) in 2012 to join [Boyden](/org/boyden) as Chief Marketing Officer. Chris has helped [Boyden](/org/boyden) become a global leader in executive search through their innovative marketing strategies.

In their role at Falcon Social, Mariam was responsible for supporting enterprise clients in utilizing the full potential of social media marketing. 

From July 2017 to October 2019, Mariam worked as a Research Associate and Support Team Lead for Ward Howell International USA. In this role, they were responsible for conducting original research for executive-level search projects, as well as networking with top industry talent. Mariam was also responsible for single-handedly supporting projects from start to finish, including interviewing candidates, creating compensation sheets, and writing reports.
