Chris Letsos

President & CEO at Boys & Girls Clubs of Tampa Bay

Chris Letsos joined Boys & Girls Clubs of Tampa Bay in December 2006 as the Grants Manager. He was promoted to Director of Grants & Programs in January 2008 and was named Vice President of Club Operations in January 2011. He was named CEO and President of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Tampa Bay on November 1, 2015.

As CEO and President, Chris will lead a dynamic team that oversees 18 sites in Hillsborough and Pasco County. He will be responsible for leading and directing the efforts of staff and Board volunteers to develop and mobilize resources to ensure the overall success of the organization.

Before joining the Boys & Girls Clubs of Tampa Bay, Chris was the Director of Programs for Boys & Girls Clubs of the Big Bend, located in Tallahassee, Florida from 2003-2006. Prior to that, he worked for other Boys & Girls Clubs organizations in Florida and New York. He is also a former Club member of the Variety Boys & Girls Club in New York and the Pasco County Boys & Girls Club. As Vice President of Club Operations, he was responsible for providing leadership for all aspects of Boys & Girls Club operations at seventeen sites in Hillsborough and Pasco County. Additionally, he served as the grant writer and managed all grant related programs and services for the organization.

Chris earned a Bachelor of Arts degree, with honors, in Political Science from the University of Florida, as well as a Masters of Arts degree, with honors, in International Affairs from Florida State University.

Chris considers his greatest accomplishment to the Boys & Girls Clubs as being able to experience the youth that he worked with now graduating college and being able to start their lives as productive, caring and responsible adults. The movement has always been important to him because it gives him the ability to give back to something that gave him so much as a child.
