Joy Johnson

Joy Johnson is the current Director at Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Kansas City. Prior to their current position, they were an Accounting Supervisor at Lapetite Academy from November 1996 to February 1998 and at H&R Block from September 1990 to November 1996. At Lapetite Academy, they prepared consolidated financial statements including presentation to management, financial schedules for filing with SEC (10K/10Q) and managed the reserve requirements and analyses of balance sheet account reconciliations. At H&R Block, they prepared consolidated financial reports and schedules for the tax service operations in U.S., Canada and Australia, compiled the financial data for the annual report and maintained a financial information database utilized by CEO, PR department and upper management to answer analyst/press inquiries.

Joy Johnson has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and a Master of Business Administration with an emphasis in Human Resources from Baker University. Joy also has a certification from the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and the SHRM-SCP.
