Ilana Levinson

Senior Director, Federal Government Relations at Boys & Girls Clubs of America

Ilana Levinson has a diverse and extensive work experience in various government relations and advocacy roles. Ilana currently holds the position of Senior Director, Federal Government Relations at Boys & Girls Clubs of America since April 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Senior Director, Government Relations at Social Current from October 2021 to March 2022. From January 2019 to March 2022, Ilana served as the Senior Director, Government Relations at Alliance for Strong Families and Communities.

Before joining Alliance for Strong Families and Communities, they co-founded and co-facilitated the Reconnecting Youth Campaign: Unleashing Limitless Potential from January 2017 to January 2019. Ilana also held multiple roles at YouthBuild USA, including Senior Director, Advocacy and Public Policy from March 2017 to December 2018, Director, Advocacy and Public Policy from April 2015 to March 2017, and Associate Director, Advocacy and Public Policy from March 2014 to April 2015.

In addition, Ilana gained work experience at the NYC Department of Small Business Services as part of the Workforce Development team from May 2012 to February 2013. Ilana'searly career includes positions at the United States Senate, where they served as a Legislative Assistant/Policy Advisor from March 2009 to July 2011 and as a Legislative Aide from August 2006 to March 2009.

Ilana Levinson obtained their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Social Relations & Policy, Psychology from Michigan State University. Ilana attended from 2002 to 2006. Later, they pursued a Master's degree at the NYU Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service, specializing in Public and Non-Profit Management and Policy. Ilana completed their Master of Public Administration (MPA) in Management from 2011 to 2013.
