Kara S has a diverse work experience. Kara started their career at Innovation Education in 2010 as an Educator, where they worked until 2012. After that, they joined Seattle Pacific University and served as an Assistant News Editor from 2012 to 2014. In 2014, Kara joined Boys & Girls Clubs of America, where they held various roles, including Youth Development Specialist from 2014 to 2016, Administrative Assistant from 2016 to 2018, Education Director from 2018 to 2020, Program Director from 2020 to 2021, and currently works as a Staff Accountant. Additionally, Kara briefly worked at the Seattle Aquarium as a Marine Science Interpreter in 2016.
Kara S has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Ecology from Seattle Pacific University, which they obtained between 2012 and 2015. Kara then attended North Seattle College in 2015, where they studied Emergency Medical Technology/Technician (EMT Paramedic) for a short period of time, but did not obtain a degree. Prior to Seattle Pacific University, they attended Antelope Valley College from 2010 to 2012 and earned an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Biology, General. In addition to their formal education, Kara S also obtained the NREMT certification from the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians in January 2016.
