John Sowada

John Sowada has extensive work experience in various roles and organizations. John is currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Minnesota. Prior to that, they were the Secretary/Treasurer at Granite City Speedway from 2012 to 2021. John has a long history with Leighton Broadcasting, where they held positions such as President from 1998 to 2021 and Executive V.P./General Manager from 1993 to 1997. John also worked as the V.P. CFO at Leighton Enterprises, Inc from 1987 to 1993.

John Sowada earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a focus on Management from Saint John's University between 1979 and 1983. John also pursued Accounting studies at St. Cloud State University, but no degree was specified.
