Alyssa Jeswald has a diverse and varied work experience. Alyssa began their career as an English Language Teacher at Foundation Hope House in 2013. Alyssa then worked as an Activities Developer at The Balto School from 2013 to 2014. In 2014, they worked as an ELL Tutor at Kenai Peninsula Borough School District. From 2015 to 2016, they were an Education Coordinator at Boys & Girls Clubs of San Francisco. In 2016, they served as the Outdoor Challenge Camp Director at Emily Oaks Nature Center, and as a Clif Crew member at Clif Bar & Company. Currently, they hold the position of Education Director at Boys & Girls Clubs of San Francisco, which they started in 2017.
Alyssa Jeswald completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in International Relations and Affairs as well as French at The Ohio State University from 2009 to 2013. In 2011, they also briefly attended the Minnesota School of International Development in Dakar, Senegal, where they studied International Development, Wolof, and French. Additionally, in 2015, Alyssa obtained a certification in WFR from the NOLS Wilderness Medicine Institute (WMI).
