Ilenia Salsano

Ilenia Salsano has a range of work experience in various research roles. Ilenia started as a Master Thesis Student at Fondazione Santa Lucia in 2016, and then went on to work as a PhD Student at Sapienza Università di Roma from 2017 to 2021. During this time, they also had a Visiting PhD Student role at UC Irvine from May 2019 to October 2019. After completing their PhD, they joined Fondazione Santa Lucia again, first as a Student Internship from July 2017 to May 2021, and then as a Postdoctoral Fellowship from May 2021 to December 2021. Following this, they worked as a Postdoctoral Scholar at the University of California, Riverside from January 2022 to January 2023. Currently, they are working as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Boys Town National Research Hospital, starting in February 2023.

Ilenia Salsano earned a Three-year degree in Biotechnology from Sapienza Università di Roma, completing their education from 2010 to 2012. Ilenia then went on to pursue a Master's degree in Neurobiology at the same university from 2014 to 2016.
